Human Equity Solutions
Bringing a human rights approach to
equity, inclusion,
resilience, and well-being initiatives
A comprehensive approach developed and proven on the global stage
Where we understand that the impact of the workplace extends beyond its doors…
Leslie established Human Equity Solutions to bring methods for building resilience and inclusive growth, developed in some of the most diverse and challenging global settings, to a broader audience
The UN, arguably the most diverse body in the world, has greatly influenced her approach, as well as her work with families and children within international schools and diplomatic missions. Her deep commitment to diversity and inclusion has been evidenced throughout her life and her career. Leslie has worked for more than 25 years within international sectors—including international schools, INGOs and the United Nations. She has prioritized these values in her professional and personal life. Her offspring are graduates of the United Nations International School (UNIS) and the International School of Kenya (ISK). She is now energized to collaborate with leadership, talent and families on applying her innovative approaches more broadly, particularly targeting the intersections between work and family
Human Equity Solutions is not your typical equity, diversity & inclusion, resilience or parent education resource
We focus on the intersections between the workplace and families
Inclusive growth requires power to change systems. Therefore, our focus is on the application of international normative frameworks for human rights to help leaders to become more intentional about dismantling structures that diminish the human dignity of others
Inclusion and resilience facilitation requires professional adeptness: agility working within diverse settings and expertise creating safe and brave group and relationship spaces. Lived experiences within the targeted inclusive spaces is a tremendous asset.
We support individuals as they negotiate emotional responses to revelations that their long-held values, beliefs, and cultural legends might be based on historical omissions, biased perspectives, or misinformation. Emotional responses are an inevitable outcome of diversity and inclusion conversations, resilience/well-being and resilient parenting programs. Knowledge gaps, implicit biases, and stressors are part of the human condition. We all have them.
